We had 21 entries and ran 3 groups each doing 4 x 7 lap heats.

We had good fast racing all day.

Bad luck for Peter Sibson 412 who blew an engine 3 laps into his second heat, Peter also got the GORBA bright spark award for taking out the fence at the end of the main straight, and Mick Harvey and Kyle Deacon 554 had problems early in the day and only got to compete in the second heat. Brant Knight 128 was out after the first heat and Cameron Lyne in the 1011 buggy had a light roll over but kept on going until other issues saw him struggle for the rest of the day.

Out front Eric Schlifelner and Dave Davis in the Prolites 155 & 161 which are sister cars were having a great day, as was Jake Williamson and Aiden Williams in the 6639 Yamaha UTV.

Steven and Janine Hodge did a great job to top their class in their 214 buggy. Ian Terry and Nathan Wright had their share of bad luck with a flat tyre in the second heat in their 660 Polaris.

Mark & Suzi Smith in the 466 Baja looked fast all day to finish first in their class with a well fought second place to Craig & Adam Button 469 and finishing of fast was the 440 car of Tim Harris.

Mark and Taryn Foster had a slight contact with a spun car that finished their day prematurely in their 413 Baja. It also finished the day for offroad newcomer Robert Ellison in his 429 Datsun 1600.

Megan & Skye Marcus in their 69 Pro buggy did a great job all day with consistent times to take a 3rd in Class. Great effort from the mother and daughter team just a day before Mother's Day.

Greg Shaw 896 kept going all day to finish at the top of his class.

A huge thanks to all the Volunteers, recovery who as always did a great job. All who helped in the canteen, the flag wavers and those working the pits, Scrutineering, Timing and our Event Director Travis Conrad who always runs our events professionally.

Also thanks to John Mahon who was assessed by CAMS to be a Steward.

We had great weather and dust wasn’t a problem.

All in all a very well run event and to all those that helped out in some way take a big pat on the back.

Great team work.

Also thanks to Corey from Show’n’go photography for the photo’s.

Thanks also to Tim Harris from Drysdale Auto Electrics for Sponsorship of the Event
