Hi Everyone,

As the outgoing President I thought I should put pen to paper and summarise the year that was.

Firstly, I'd like to thank all Club members for their help and support over the last 2 years. It 's been an absolute honour to serve such a great club in a great sport.

I'd also like to congratulate the new office bearers and committee for stepping up to the cause, it's a big commitment.

I urge all Club Members to get behind this new group and give them your full support. I think as a club we need to share the load, this will ensure that nobody gets burnt out. These roles need to be enjoyable, so if we can all help out it will make their jobs a little bit easier. 

As usual the club ran 3 very successful events in 2016;  the first round held on May 7th at Avalon, part of the Mallee Shield.
The second round held at Moyston on  the 12th of September and the third  round was held back at Avalon on the 7th  of November. We're a very successful club also winning the Mallee Shield series this year, thanks to some very consistent and very competitive members.

With next year being the 40th Anniversary of our club, I would ask that we all take ownership of our club by helping to make it bigger and better than before.

Personally I'll be giving Greg Ryan and the new team my full support.

Finally, to all fellow members, I 'd like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a very happy and prosperous New Year.
